Follow the instructions below to receive your order or complete the steps necessary to receive your commision packet.
To receive your supplies please scan and email a copy of your Certificate of Authorization (COA) to: info@npsnotary.com
The original certificate must then be mailed to:

Commission packets are sent from the Secretary of State after they have received passing test results and your Live Scan fingerprint results from the DOJ and FBI.

Live Scan Fingerprints:
New and Renewing Notaries must take a background check by Live Scan fingerprinting before each commission. Each applicant must Live Scan regardless of whether they have Live Scanned for a previous commission or Live Scanned for another purpose.
You must bring the following to the Live Scan site:
- A completed Request For Live Scan Service (PDF) form.
- A current photo identification.
- A fingerprint processing fee and an additional rolling fee. Please call the Live Scan site to verify the amount of the rolling fee.
Once you submit your fingerprints, everything is sent electronically to the FBI and DOJ. Each will submit a report to the SOS to add to your file. No further action is required on your behalf regarding your Live Scan. Processing times can vary so check the SOS website for processing updates: www.sos.ca.gov/notary/processing-times
Find Live Scan Operators in your County
We can issue your bond and rush it with a scan or photo of your “Certificate of Authorization to Manufacture Notary Public Seals” or your “Commission Certificate.” To ensure the availability of rush delivery and to get a delivery date email info@npsnotary.com. It is typically two business days from when the request is made. There is a $15 rush fee for none LSA Supply Package orders.
